Today in Media Arts we'll recap the biggest moments from last night's Oscars then Begin looking at the basics of
Cinematography. We'll examine what the
responsibilities of the cinematographer (better known as director of photography or d.p.) are and the different
jobs that exist in the camera department on a film.
We'll also study the
basic camera angles and compositions that are
used in film and some of the
resources cinematographers need to use.
