I went into the city yesterday to see Steph Wowk receive her Scholastic medal. It was awesome! Steph came out on the stage of Carnegie Hall striking a pose- she managed to make herself standout among standouts. It was really great. Chuck Palahniuk (the author of Fight Club) made the keynote address and told this insane story about being sewn inside dead horses naked as a metaphor for how much you have to fight to make it in the world. It was really a cool event.
