The entries for the
LI Best competition at the Heckscher Museum are due digitally today. Be sure to submit your entry and your artists statement about how your work was inspired from a the piece you chose which showed in the museum this year. Below is a terrific example from Anna in AP Art on the right based on Rubens Santoro's painting Grand Canal, Venice on the left.
In digital media we will
work on creating work for the Embracing our Differences juried art exhibit. The image is 17.5" x 12" with 300DPI resolution themes are:
- The struggles and joys of living in a diverse community
- The impact of predudice and hatred on human dignity
- The varied people, cultures, and perspectives in our world.
