AP Art: Water Conservation Mural and Storm Drains
Today is our final day of painting the water conservation mural that we've been working on with National Geographic and the video above shows our whole process. We learned a great deal from the research and used it in our mural so now it's time to begin sharing some of what we learned with others! We'll post the video and the final mural pictured below on social media and put together a campaign in the spring that includes the beach cleanup we organized so the community can take action.
We will also be participating in another Google Hangout with the science classes at Smithtown West 5th period today to continue our collaboration on the smaller storm drain murals that we will be painting in the spring.
