Digital Media: Digital Drawing
In Digital Media we are learning the basics of Digital Drawing with a self portrait in Photoshop. The drawing should be completed by Wednesday and then we'll be adding layers and digital manipulations. Make sure you save these images as Photoshop files as we need to continue to preserve the layers until we are finished.

Digital Media: Digital Drawing

In Digital Media we will begin working on digital drawing using Photoshop in class and get our first look at the new computer lab. Each student has chosen a poet for National Poetry Month (listed below) and we'll begin by finding a good source photo to work from, creating layers in Photoshop, and creating a drawing. We'll then change our mindset to design and work on adding a short poem and designing the finished product later in the week.

In Digital Media class we are going to transition from traditional drawing to digital drawing and here's some inspiration. Anyone who hasn't posed for the class will get their opportunity today or Monday and them we will choose our best drawings and work back into them a with different media. Five completed drawings from life will be due next week on Tuesday, choose your best and we will scan some in to work with digitally.
