Extra Credit: September

This month's Extra Credit is to create and register a work into the Celebrate St.James contest. The basic information can be found on the poster above and you can click the link to register.  The contest is open for all of September and will left your lowest grade of the quarter up a letter grade.  The book Images of America: St. James by Geoffrey K. Fleming might be a great resource to use, it's available at the library and the local bookstores.

This month's extra credit assignment comes courtesy of the Studio 360 radio show and actor Nick Offerman best know for playing Ron on Park's and Rec.  It's a popsicle stick sculpture creative challenge the rules are below- be creative!:

The Challenge: Build a popsicle stick sculpture for Nick Offerman based on one (or more) of his favorite things:

• Bratwurst
• Fishing
• Masonry
• Wilco (the band)
• The Hoover Dam
• Puzzles
• America
