Studio Art: Japanese Paper Box Origami

This week in Studio Art we will learn how to create Paper Box Origami.  We will again begin by designing paper like the swatches of Japanese paper below with repeating patterns that are colorful and creative.

After the paper is created we will learn how to fold the paper into a box with 2 sheets.  Below is a box I created as an example and the video above shows you the process of folding.
