Advanced Media: The Showrunner
In Advanced Media we are learning about television and show runners as we will follow the process of creating a television show from scratch to the first pilot. Each student will create an original idea for a television show and pitch it in this process and we will work as a network to choose some to develop into pilots. Additionally next week each student will choose a television show to research and present discussing how they were created and broke as well as how they run in terms of staff and development.
Here's a relative story about The Walking Dead's first show runner Frank Darabont and how he disappeared after the first season: Hollywood Reporter
