Remembering Architect I.M. Pei

Architect I.M. Pei,  creator of iconic museum buildings such as the Louvre glass pyramid and the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC as well as famed buildings such as the Roosevelt Field Mall on Long Island, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, the John Hancock Tower and John F. Kennedy Library in Boston, the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, and the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong passed away this week at the age of 102.  His building were creative designs that attracted as much attention as the artwork inside them without detracting from the work so he's a terrific STEAM icon to study.  You can learn more about his work and career in the short obituary below.
