The NYC Ballet's art series was announced recently and this year it will feature the work of artist and author LAUREN REDNISS. Redniss is the recipient of a MacArthur Foundation fellowship, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and was Artist-in-Residence at the American Museum of Natural History. She teaches at the Parsons School of Design. Her installation for this year’s Art Series celebrates the many people whose behind-the- scenes efforts are the lifeblood of the theater. She will create a 360-degree panorama of portraits depicting more than 100 people who work at New York City Ballet.
